Multi Arts Community and Educational  workshops

Light Art and Land Art portfoio

The creative multi arts workshops are designed to help participants, explore, create, respond and reflect on the arts in it's different forms. Participants can use a tiered layering effect by using one art form to support, inform and inspire the other in an integrated way. Workshops can be in art, dance or a hybrid workshop where at some point both art forms can be happening at the same time and space. Workshops can explore the link between the expressive art forms of creative dance and art (light art /projection /photography and 2d drawings). Both can also be used to explore other topics and themes. Workshops are suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Tiered Arts has also worked in collaboration with organisations such as Rubicon Dance, Film Agency Wales and PLPS...

As a practising visual artist Sharon creates her own work in both Light Art and Land Art and has created work for commissions and exhibitions. Digital prints can be ordered via this site. All images are copywrite protected.

Light Art..Sharon's work explores  the link between the two forms of dance and art. Using light, projection, photography and 2d drawings she explores how the two forms overlap and fuse together in the same time and space. She uses art to illustrate the movement pathways and form that the dancers create.

Land Art...Sharon's work focus's on empathy of place, what draws you to a beautiful landscape, is it the light, colour, shape form or contrasting elements. Sharon plays with the elements of nature and enjoys the contrasts between the elements and the transient nature of the Artworks , capturing a moment in time that will be lost and reclaimed by nature.

Fluid Art images and Jewellery

This is a new area that Sharon is exploring using Acrylic pours to create Fluid art. For the jewellery pieces skins are created on tiles and then cut glazed and set between stainless steel pendents or brass bangle settings and glass cabochons. Each piece hold a unique piece of art work. Jewellery items can be purchased via this site- a new page will be added soon detailing items for sale.
